Aurora was appointed Host Broadcast partner for the 2025 LTA’s HSBC Championships at The Queen’s Club in a multi-year deal. Aurora delivered live coverage of both the WTA and ATP 500 tournaments for a global audience.
The Queen’s Club event marks a historic milestone in 2025, as the women’s WTA 500 tournament joins the calendar for the first time in over 50 years, creating a full fortnight of elite tennis, capturing all the magic of the British grass court season. Aurora produced world feed coverage across both weeks, with matches featuring leading British talent Katie Boulter, Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu, as well as reigning Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz.
The partnership builds on Aurora’s reputation for delivering world-class live sports coverage and innovative production, and underscores the LTA’s ambition to raise the profile of British tennis and reach new audiences.
Approach
Aurora oversaw the host broadcast across both tournaments, producing live coverage, highlights, studio presentation and digital content. Operating from The Queen’s Club and remote galleries, the team integrated ATP and WTA world feeds, talent presentation, and branded content activations for HSBC and other partners.Editorial Storytelling: The broadcast celebrated both established stars and new narratives.
Carlos Alcaraz’s victory extended his historic grass-court streak, while Jack Draper’s semi-final run ignited home audiences. On the women’s side, Tatjana Maria’s triumph made her the oldest WTA 500 champion in history. These stories were brought to life through commentary, feature inserts, and engaging short-form digital edits that resonated with broader audiences.

- BBC average audience of 651k across the fortnight (+51% YoY)

- 4.1m Instagram interactions, more than double 2024 (+112%YoY)
- Total social media reach of 188.9m across ATP + WTA
Innovation and Sponsorship Value:
- Aurora’s broadcastalso delivered record commercial value. Net Sponsorship Value rose to $128.2m(+40% YoY), with HSBC’s assets alonegenerating $23.8m.
- New innovations,including LED court branding andintegrated digital storytelling, gave partners more exposure while enhancing the fan experience.
Queen’s is an incredibly complex tournament to deliver. This was a historic year, marking the return of the WTA tournament for the first time in over 50 years, and it was vital that we properly showcased what that moment meant for women’s tennis.
