OVERVIEW
Aurora served as Host Broadcaster for Goodwood’s iconic motorsport events from 2012 to 2021, producing live and non-live content across the Members’ Meeting, Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.
Across nearly a decade, Aurora helped shape Goodwood’s global broadcast and digital presence, delivering a broad content ecosystem spanning live racing, highlights, factual programming and branded content.
Aurora delivered a fully integrated production model across Goodwood’s three flagship events, producing:
- Live host broadcast coverage for international broadcasters
- Live event coverage for Goodwood’s on-site big screens
- Live streaming for digital platforms including YouTube and BBC Sport
- Highlights programming and VOD content
- Original factual features and documentaries
- Digital and social-first content
- Brand and sponsor films built around the unique atmosphere of each event
The output was distributed to over 50 broadcasters globally including ITV, BBC and Sky in the UK, Eurosport, FOX and Torque TV in the States.
Aurora deployed over 100 crew on-site and more than 50 cameras at Festival of Speed alone, covering every part of the event — from hillclimb action and paddock access to live interviews, automotive reveals and brand activations.
Aurora helped transform Goodwood into one of the most watched and widely distributed motorsport event properties in the world, blending live sport, automotive culture and entertainment into a modern, multiplatform content model.
The partnership played a central role in growing Goodwood’s audience across broadcast, streaming and digital, with the Festival of Speed live stream attracting millions of viewers globally and expanding into new broadcast partnerships.
