We are pleased to share that we have been appointed by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), motorsport’s global governing body, as Host Broadcast Partner for the 2025 FIA World Rallycross Championship and FIA European Rallycross Championship.
The appointment follows the FIA’s decision to bring the championship in-house under a new operating model focused on innovation, reach, and accessibility. Aurora will deliver the global host broadcast feed, highlights programming, features, and a comprehensive digital content ecosystem across the season’s events.
We will implement our ‘Content Studio’ approach, combining live broadcast with digital-first content and social storytelling. The production will feature enhanced coverage, drone cameras, onboard feeds, data-led graphics, and editorial packaging, designed to grow new audiences while engaging the existing rallycross fanbase.
The FIA World Rallycross Championship has always had the raw ingredients of a standout motorsport series – unpredictable racing, bold characters, and a passionate fanbase. With the FIA now leading its future direction, we’re excited to help evolve the Championship into a world-class live and digital product, built for modern fans and platforms.
The 2025 World RX season features six events across Europe and the Middle East. The opening round took place in Portugal, with a capacity crowd of over 10,000 fans packing out the legendary Lousada International Circuit in Portugal to see the world’s top RX drivers battle for the first honours in a new era for the category.
