Extreme H Agree Multi-Year Deal for World’s First Hydrogen-Powered World Cup

Extreme E & H has signed a historic multi-year deal with the FIA – Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile to deliver the world’s first hydrogen-powered World Cup event.
The FIA Extreme H World Cup sits at the cutting edge of motorsport innovation, showcasing fuel cell technology as a clean energy solution. The inaugural World Cup, taking place in October, will test boundaries and continue to promote a level playing field in motorsport, with each team incorporating a male and female driver.
As long-standing host broadcast partner, Aurora is proud to bring this ground-breaking event to global audiences - carrying the story from Extreme E’s beginnings through to the new era of hydrogen racing.
Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia, will host the inaugural FIA Extreme H World Cup. The action kicks off with a ‘final fling’ Extreme E Desert X Prix before the baton officially passes to Extreme H.
