Aurora partnered with Barclays and the Women’s Super League to develop and deliver a season-long content strategy designed to activate Barclays’ sponsorship and build deeper fan connection with the league.
Working closely with both teams, we created a suite of player-led formats that put athletes front and centre, using storytelling to highlight the growth of the women’s game and Barclays’ role in supporting it.
Approach
Across the season, we developed a range of original content formats designed to work across social, digital and out-of-home platforms. Each series was built around a simple, human insight, creating authentic, shareable stories that resonate with modern audiences.

We Grew Up With Football
A hero film celebrating the rapid growth of women’s football, told through the voices and experiences of players who have lived that journey.
IOU
An intimate, emotional series built around a simple question: who do players want to thank? Each episode reveals the people behind the player and the role they’ve played in their journey.
Fan Girl
A social-first series exploring the power of role models, with players highlighting the women who inspire them on and off the pitch.
Ocean Outdoor Highlights
High-impact edits designed for digital out-of-home, extending the campaign beyond social and into public spaces to reach broader audiences.
